We already LOVE grilled cheese – and making it vegan is easier than you think! There’s so many different ways to make it fancier than just cheese and bread (although there’s nothing wrong with that). Here we’ll share with you two different kinds we made that we were super happy with!

We made a vegan cheese and Chong and one with mac & cheese! (Which we also ate with a side of the leftover mac & cheese)

You’ll need:

  • Daiya cheddar mac & cheese
  • Gardein meatless ground
  • Dairy free cheese slices (preferably one that melts, we used Alternative Kitchen goat style slices)
  • Vegan Mayo
  • Vegan butter
  • Sriracha (or another hot sauce)
  1. Fry meatless ground in a frying pan with a tablespoon of vegan butter
  2. Cook the Daiya mac and cheese (as per directions on the box) in a separate pot
  3. Butter your bread on both sides and on the inside put a thin layer of vegan mayo mixed with sriracha
  4. FOR CHEESE AND CHONG- Layer your meatless ground on top of your bread and top with a slice of vegan cheese
  5. FOR MAC & CHEESE- Repeat except with mac and cheese instead of the cheese slice
  6. Fry until desired crispiness is achieved! Enjoy! πŸ™‚
