ULTIMATE GRILLED CHEESE

If you can’t already tell (since this is our second post) we love grilled cheese. All different kinds too, we don’t discriminate. This time we played around with “meat” and taco seasoning in one and avocado and chick’n in the other! Both were so delicious, filling and took under 30 minutes to make!

FOR THE CHEESE AND CHONG YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bread of your choice
  • Vegan butter
  • Vegan cheese slices (Tofutti)
  • Veggie ground (Gardein)
  • Taco seasoning
  • Green onions

STEPS:

  1. Heat two frying pans on medium-low and coat with vegan butter
  2. Fry your veggie ground then add taco seasoning
  3. Butter your bread on both sides
  4. Start with your bottom piece of bread in the pan and begin stacking your ingredients – cheese slice, a scoop of taco ground, green onions, another cheese slice then the top piece of bread. (We use two slices of cheese so it stays together even better)
  5. Cook to desired crispy-ness and enjoy!

FOR THE BUFFALO AVOCADO CHICK’N YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bread of your choice
  • Vegan mozzarella slices (Emborg)
  • Vegan butter (Becel)
  • Vegan feta (Sheese)
  • Chick’n strips (we use Gardein)
  • Buffalo sauce
  • Avocado
  • Green onions

STEPS:

  1. Heat two frying pans on medium-low and coat with vegan butter
  2. In one pan, fry your chick’n strips
  3. Butter your bread on both sides
  4. Cut up your avocado and green onions
  5. Start with your bottom piece of bread in the pan and begin stacking your ingredients – cheese slice, chick’n strips, green onions, avocado, feta, drizzle buffalo sauce, then your top piece of bread
  6. Cook to desired crispy-ness and enjoy!
