We’ve always been huge fans of cauliflower. This dish takes it to the next level! Pan searing your cauliflower brings out a depth of flavour. Topped with a chili maple glaze – you’ll be going back for seconds!


  • 1 head of firm cauliflower cut into steaks
  • 3-4 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp of finely diced fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves of fresh diced garlic
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of dried chili flakes


  1. Start with your glaze, heat up a sauce pan on medium high heat
  2. In a bowl, mix your apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, garlic, chilli flakes, and parsley
  3. Pour your glaze into the pan stirring constantly until it begins to thicken
  4. Remove from heat and set aside
  5. Heat a large frying pan on medium high heat and add your vegetable oil
  6. Once oil is hot, place your cauliflower steaks into the pan
  7. Don’t move your cauliflower for 5 minutes then check for colour, flip and repeat
  8. Plate you cauliflower and drizzle chili maple glaze overtop
  9. Serve and enjoy!
